Lakeside Primary School kindergartners, from left, Colton Smith, Joseph Talos, Bella Grace Young and Brayden Baldwin display their Arkansas collages from a unit in Elizabeth Roberson's class. Roberson reached out to the United States Department of Agriculture during the summer to create new units of study for her class. The department has provided hands-on learning materials. Roberson said the collage project allowed students to learn about the Natural State, gave them a chance to share their interests with the class and express their personalities. The class is currently studying bees.
