Richard Lynn Slagle, son of Hot Springs resident Stephany Rush Slagle, wins the men's open bodybuilding-super heavyweight division in an Oklahoma meet, qualifying for the national finals in November in Miami. He plans to compete next year for an International Federation of Bodybuilders procard, certifying him as a professional in the sport. His sponsors are Bridgers Fitness & Physique and RP Nutrition.
