Mountain Pine Elementary School fourth- through sixth-grade math and science teachers Lisa Engebretson and Karen Goff introduced students to new concepts in the second week of school. Engebretson's students used integers on a number line. Goff's students studied cell structure and researched cells as the building blocks of life.
