Pulaski agri agent addresses hosta society
Ouachita Hosta and Shade Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Garland County Library, 1427 Malvern Ave. Refreshments and socializing starts at 9:30 a.m.
Speaker Randy Forst, who is the agricultural extension agent for Pulaski County, will speak on shade plants.

Health fair moves to Friday at NPMC
The "Education Can Make a Healthier You" Health Fair has been moved to 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in the Fordyce Room at National Park Medical Center, 1910 Malvern Ave.
Sponsors of the free health fair are Arkansas Minority Health Commission and National Park Medical Center; the host is Lupus Foundation of Arkansas Inc.
Free health screenings for blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, spinal, BMI, temperature, etc., will be available to all, as well as medical educational materials on various health issues. The public is welcome. Call 525-9380 for more information.
