Dear editor: No justice in county

Dear editor:

Well, here comes my first "letter to the editor." I just could no longer stand by and do nothing after reading the letter written by Briana Moore, which appeared in the Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, edition of The Sentinel-Record.

So, I'll get straight to the point of my letter here and give my experience with the "justice system" here in the "fair" county of ours. Forget it. There is no justice in Garland County. I'm sure there are others out there who feel the same way.

I served this great country of ours as a paratrooper with the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division. Our unit motto (307 Engineer Battallion) was "I Maintain the Right."

There is the law, and then there is the "right way." I always have and always will follow the right way. Don't get me wrong here about the job that our fine police force does. They do an outstanding job.

All the way airborne,

Dennis Dwyer
