National Park Community College will hold a Building Lockdown Drill exercise at 10:20 a.m. Friday.
Participants include the Garland County Department of Emergency Management and local law enforcement agencies.
The drill is intended to "enhance preparedness and response capabilities" for the college's administrative staff and students in the event of an actual emergency, according to Janet Brewer, director of Human Resources.
Those traveling to the college campus between 10-11 a.m. should expect delays and limited access to the campus until the conclusion of the drill.
