During the Hot Springs Jazz Society's Mardi Gras Costume Ball and Contest, attendees will have a chance to win a 2 carat diamond ring worth $4,000. Steven Kirsch, of Stephen's Jewelers, donated the ring to be raffled off during the third annual fundraising event, which will be held from 6-11:30 p.m. Feb. 7 in the Austin Convention Hotel and Spa. All proceeds from the raffle and ball will benefit the Jazz Society's educational and year-round programming. Tickets are $600 for a table of 10 with preferred seating or $60 for a single ticket.
