The Racing Team Member of the Month for November was Jamie Radimer, who has been with Oaklawn since 1988. She is a human resources specialist and is in charge of all uniforms companywide, as well as benefits coordinator. Radimer has "gone above and beyond to steer the company in the correct direction as we negotiate the changing scope of health care benefits. As a company, we would not have been able to stay on top of these things without Jamie's patience, leadership and guidance," according to the release.

Maurice Sanders was named Racing Team Member of the Month for December. "Maurice is one of our best shuttle drivers. He is known for going out of his way to see to it guests make it safely and securely to their vehicles and is also a favorite of fellow team members for his good nature and sense of humor when delivering them to and from work." His care for the guests and team members made him a popular candidate for this award.

The Gaming Team Member of the Month for December was Kerry Scholes, who began his career at Oaklawn in 2010 and works behind the scenes in the surveillance department. Although his position keeps him out of public view, Scholes has been called on time and time again to review film to help patrons and team members find lost items and track down missing valuables. "He is always enthusiastic and thorough in his review of situations and takes pride in solving problems by gathering the correct information."
