Little Rock poet featured at Wednesday Night Poetry

Little Rock poet and radio personality Kara Bibb will be this week's featured artist during Wednesday Night Poetry at Kollective Coffee+Tea, 110 Central Ave. Admission is free.

The first round of open mic readings will begin at 6 p.m. today, followed by Bibb's presentation at 7 p.m. A second round of open mic will follow her performance. All poets are welcome to participate.

Creator of the popular poetry blog "There Will Be Flowers," Bibb is also a co-host of Skoog Radio on KABF 88.3 FM. She serves as a trivia jockey at Challenge Entertainment and as co-host of Vino's Live From The Backroom Sunday evenings in Little Rock. Chuck Dodson, who has hosted WNP since April 2012, has stepped down as weekly host due to other obligations. Bud Kenny, founder of WNP in 1989, will take Dodson's place.
