HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- Property Owner Services, located in the lobby of the POA building, 895 DeSoto Blvd., will be open from 8 a.m. until noon today. All other administrative offices will be closed at this location. Due to the Independence Day holiday, there will be no yard waste collected today.
Fireworks use prohibited
inside Hot Springs Village
Hot Springs Village residents and guests are prohibited from the personal use of all types of fireworks within the Village due to the heavily wooded areas and risk of starting brush fires. The annual fireworks display will be presented at dark July 4 at Balboa Lake.
Several roads closed
for fireworks show
Hot Springs Village Public Safety said several road closures and flow changes will be necessary for the upcoming fireworks show.
Ponce de Leon will be closed the evening of July 4 from Magellan Drive to Balearic Road, including Balboa Dam. The closure will be in effect from 6:30-11 p.m. No vehicles will be allowed across the dam after 6:30 p.m.
Shuttles will run continuously from 7-8:30 p.m. Riders from Balboa Baptist Church will be dropped off at the Balboa Pavilion, overflow parking will be at the Ponce de Leon Golf Course.
Riders from Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church will be dropped off at the Balboa Dam.
