Stay out of others' business

Dear editor:

With the recent gay marriage ruling and the people wanting to take down flags, the word "beliefs" is being thrown around a lot and how people are having their beliefs trampled on.

Well tough, no one asked me if I want the choice to wear a seat belt or not because of someone else's belief. Bikers get to choose to wear a helmet.

I can't enjoy a nice cigarette after a steak dinner at a restaurant because of others' beliefs. No one asked smokers if we wanted our freedom taken.

I'd like to buy a 12-pack of beer on a Sunday.

If I don't have kids in your school, I'd rather not pay property tax.

I'd like not to pay taxes on used cars.

Everyone wants to tell everyone else what they can and can't do. And don't bother to tidy up their own backyard.

Stay out of others' business, and if you believe it's hurting you in some form or fashion, suck it up buttercup.
