Jeff Weaver began in June at National Park College as the associate vice president for external affairs.
Weaver served as district director for the 4th Congressional District under the office of U.S. Congressman Mike Ross and was the campaign manager for U.S. Senator Mark Pryor.
Weaver's areas of oversight will include marketing, public relations, development, governmental relations, alumni cultivation and events.
