Dear editor:
I guess my Pseudo Atheist Intellectuals vs. The Prophesying Bible Crowd comment in my last letter must have struck a nerve with Mike Nunn, I am sure that surprises no one. I don't think for one minute anything I could say would ever change his mind as progressive liberals are some of the smartest people on the planet and they never miss the opportunity to let you know that. As anyone who follows world news should know that we are in a war with radical Islam and it is now on the home front. The White House and many of the president's cabinet has been infiltrated by Muslims and they are succeeding in destroying this country from within.
This president has done much to damage to race relations, he makes public comments on crime without knowing the facts, and this latest deal with Iran will eventually lead them to be a nuclear power. If this is your idea of success, he is succeeding. Mike, anyone who loves his country and willingly serves it is something progressives are unable to understand, and thus must have to be a right-wing conspirator and a danger to "our/your freedom. (What do you propose, send bouquet of flowers to those who will kill us?) History also shows that the first thing that an invading army does is exterminate, the intellectuals, teachers, scientists and any dissenters, but do not worry as radical Islamists won't kill you as long as you convert. I have yet to meet a Muslim/atheist, I can't help wonder how that would work out.
"As of 2011 it is predicted by Pew Research that world's Muslim population will grow -- at rate twice as fast as non-Muslims over the next 20 years. By 2030, Muslims will make up more than quarter of the global populations." It is highly likely you and I will not be around to see it. So let's not split hairs on this issue, as time is a wasting.
I have respect for the Constitution and have sworn to defend it with my life, if necessary. However, I do not blindly have respect for any government official, from the president on down to Congress and least of all government bureaucrats, that has to be earned, they are our employees and need to be removed if they are unable or unwilling to do their job. Progressives are quick to accuse people who disagree with them, as trying to destroy "the country," but they never tell you what kind of a country they want.
I would like to thank Robert L. Watson for his kind words and Loy Mauch for his comments on the Confederate flag. I can't wait t0 see who comes out of the woodwork next, could it be one of the Prophesying Bible Crowed?
