Dierksen Hospice Program Director Mandie Vaughn is among the first group of nurses recognized in Arkansas by The Arkansas Action Coalition honoring 40 under 40.
These honorees were chosen by a panel of nurses based on evidence of professional success; leadership within the profession through clinical practice, education, administration or research; community service and participation in professional groups or organizations that advance the nursing profession.
The Action Coalition received many nominations. The future leaders picked this year represent more than a dozen facilities throughout Arkansas.
Vaughn expressed in the release, "When I learned of the nomination, it was extremely humbling to me! I am thankful to my family, nursing mentors and the Arkansas Action Coalition for considering me for this honor."
