New Diamond Lakes president/CEO leads lending initiatives

Tammy Passafiume is the new president/CEO of Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union. Passafiume was previously president/CEO of River Valley Federal Credit Union in Camden. She brings 23 years of credit union industry experience to her new position with Diamond Lakes.

"Tammy's experience and strategic vision will strengthen Diamond Lakes' position as a financial industry leader in Arkansas," said Wayne Reynolds, Diamond Lakes' chairman of the board, in the press release. "With a proven track record for successfully leading lending initiatives and driving technical innovation, Tammy's leadership skills are well suited to lead Diamond Lakes."

Passafiume has been appointed to serve on the Malvern/Hot Spring County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She serves on the Credit Union National Association's Community Credit Union Committee, the ARCUSO Board of Directors and the Cornerstone Credit Union League's C.U. Resources Board of Directors.

She is a graduate of Southwest CUNA Management School, Dale Carnegie Leadership Training for Managers, Dale Carnegie Effective Communications and Human Relations, and Camden Area Leadership. She attended Southern Arkansas University in Camden.

Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union is headquartered at 7333 Highway 270 in Malvern, with two branches in Hot Springs: 4032 Central Ave. and 115 E. Grand Ave. The credit union also has a branch near the west gate of Hot Springs Village: 4585 N. Highway 7, Suite 11.

Diamond Lakes is a full-service credit union with $70 million in total assets and 10,851 members. To join the credit union, individuals must live, work, worship, attend school or regularly do business in Hot Spring, Garland, Clark, Grant, Pike or Montgomery counties or Hot Springs Village.
