The Hot Springs Village Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting July 21 to celebrate the grand opening of the Hot Springs Village Property Owners' Association Balboa Spillway Trail. The new 2.1-mile trail is for multipurpose use and accommodates bicycles and golf carts as well as pedestrians. It connects Balboa Beach to the 8.6-mile Hernando Trail via a scenic overlook bridge spanning the Lake Balboa spillway.
