The Ballet Arkansas Preparatory Program is offered to dancers ages 12-18 who are seriously considering choosing ballet as their career. It is a special program designed to supplement and accelerate a student's ballet training while allowing them to experience a professional company atmosphere.

Dancers will have opportunities to train, rehearse and perform with Ballet Arkansas, in addition to participating in other performances and appearances throughout the year. Dancers will be selected by an audition process and no more than 10 will be chosen for this unique opportunity.

Selected dancers will receive focused attention from their instructors who may include the BAPP director, Ballet Arkansas artistic director, and Ballet Arkansas ballet mistress. Master classes and classes with other guest artists will also be available.
