ISIS is a WMD

Dear editor:

George Will (June 26, 2015) says, "mistakenly believing it was developing weapons of mass destruction." George Will is talking about nuclear weapons. In the same paragraph, he says, "continues to use chemical weapons." Iraq had chemical weapons and Syria has chemical weapons, and chemical weapons are weapons of mass destruction. Whether or not Iraq was developing nuclear weapons, they did have weapons of mass destruction. For that matter, weapons of mass destruction were used against the USA on Sept. 11, 2001 -- in the form of four airplanes.

When will we acknowledge the correct definition of "weapons of mass destruction?"

ISIS is a WMD.
