In late 2014, one of his silent partners emailed him an article in Arkansas Business magazine that covered the legendary record executive Al Bell, of Brinkley, who ran Staxx Records which birthed artists such as Isaac Hayes, Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin, to name a few. In the magazine, Bell mentioned he was currently looking for new artists to work with and wanted to share his knowledge of the music industry. So they set out to find him and over a period of four to six months, they tracked down Bell and setup a meeting through his assistant. Minniefield was determined to build a 2015 Staxx/Motown records in Hot Springs through his Posh Studio & Lounge in hopes to impress Bell and possibly become an apprentice.

He has been featured in tons of national magazines and worked with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Coming from a line of over achievers, he is the nephew of Juan Minniefield, the first African-American man to have a retail store in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Rodeo Drive; and grandson of the late Jean Evelyn Minniefield, the first African-American women to do hair in white salons in east Texas in the '60s. The highlight of her career was being President Lyndon B. Johnson's wife, Lady Bird Johnson's, hair stylist. He the grandson of Earl "Prof" Minniefield, basketball coach who worked in the Waldo School District for more than two decades, attended UAPB and has a statue in the college gym to this day, and least to say Earl Minniefield even has his own day in Arkansas.

Having a passion for business, Christopher Minniefield owned his first business at the young age of 18 years old and was the first African-American man to have a business on Northwest Avenue in El Dorado. He traveled all over the nation in his late teens and early 20s, living in Dallas, Las Vegas, Miami, California, Houston, Oklahoma City and Chicago.
