All city offices, except public safety and the airport, will be closed Friday in observance of Independence Day.
Residential and commercial sanitation collection, roll-off and downtown routes, and Earth Angel recycling collection will take place as scheduled on Friday. Hot Springs Intracity Transit bus and paratransit vans will run Friday, but not Saturday. The Sanitation and Intracity Transit offices will be closed Friday. The city compost facility will be closed Friday, but open Saturday.
Garland County offices and departments will also be closed Friday in observance of Independence Day, according to County Judge Rick Davis.
The Garland County Landfill and transfer stations will also be closed. Solid waste house-to-house pick up service will run as scheduled.
