Pullman Heights United Methodist Church, 200 Pullman, off Park Avenue, will hold an old-time southern gospel singing, to begin at 6:30 p.m. today.

The evening will start with a piano and guitar prelude medley of gospel songs by pianist Jay Campbell and the Rev. Ron Grigsby. Campbell will be joined by Peggy Barnett and Buddy Midkiff singing the theme song "Jesus and Me," to end the prelude.

Congregational singing will be led by retired music teacher Pauline Brown. Grigsby and Campbell will play for the congregational singing. A highlight of the evening will be the oft-requested "Heaven's Really Gonna Shine" by June Batterton Midkiff and Buddy Midkiff.

Other special numbers will be presented by Barbara Marsac, Carole Beam, Savannah Holt, George Daves, Barnett, Midkiff, Cass Harden, Janetta Ritter, Jo Sammons and others.

There is no admission charge or love offering. Anyone who enjoys singing or just listening to Southern gospel music to attend is welcome.
