Dear editor:
My father died in December at age 96, and in his long and useful life, he said many wise things. He often said, for example, that it was easier to be against something than to be for something.
I am for the Hot Springs School District millage. We ask our schools to do so much, and I hope voters will go to the polls and vote "Yes" in the millage election to help the district meet its goals.
My wife and I purposefully sent our children to school in the Hot Springs School District, and we certainly don't regret it.
Let's be for the millage.
