Amy Thomason, community liaison for Arkansas Hospice's Hot Springs office covering six counties, will speak at the Virginia Clinton Kelly Democratic Women's meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Henderson State Hot Springs, Landmark Building, 201 Market St. Social time starts at 5 p.m. She will discuss her community involvement in Project HOPE, Safe Haven Shelter for Women and Children, and other communities efforts, including the recent homeless count.
Thomason graduated from Hendrix College, with a career in health care from hospital nurse recruitment at hospitals in Little Rock, Dallas and Fort Worth, to return to Arkansas for the opportunity to manage rehabilitation programs in long-term care.
