Hot Springs Memorial Field's control tower is silhouetted Thursday by storm clouds that moved through Garland County around 1:30 p.m. At the height of the storm, about 1,700 Entergy Arkansas Inc. customers lost power for about two hours after lightning struck a circuit and locked out the circuit breaker. The National Weather Service forecast for today calls for a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high of 84.
