"We are so excited about this year's holiday collection and about our open house. We love helping our customers relax a little while they get a jump start on their holiday shopping, sample a few of our holiday specialties and save some money. It's always so much fun sampling everything and it's an awesome way to welcome my favorite time of year," said Shelley Hughes of JavaPrimo. Whether you are a regular at JavaPrimo or have never visited before, this weekend's open house is an event you don't want to miss!

"Be sure to sample the delicious cakes and pies and place your orders early for Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Our sweet potato pie is by far the most popular item at JavaPrimo for Thanksgiving. When we started making these six years ago, we had no idea they would be so wildly popular. So many of our customers have to have a JavaPrimo sweet potato pie to make their holiday gatherings complete. We were very proud to be listed among the Best Pies in the Arkansas Times in 2011," said Joshua Hughes. "The sweet potato pie has a delicious almond streusel topping -- stop in the café between now and Thanksgiving and ask for a sample. Your taste buds won't be disappointed -- just be sure not to leave without placing your order as they are sure to sell out for Thanksgiving. Sweet potato pie lovers and skeptics alike are wowed by this delicious fall treat."

Back by popular demand this year is online ordering of Thanksgiving cakes and pies for in-store pickup. "The holidays are stressful enough and we wanted to offer online ordering to help simplify this busy time of year for our customers," said Shelley Hughes of JavaPrimo. JavaPrimo offers several other pies, including chocolate cream, coconut cream, molasses pecan, and the newest addition to the menu, peanut butter chocolate pie. While the sweet potato is by far the most popular for Thanksgiving, all five pies are available by the slice in the cafe and whole for carry out (48 hours advance noticed requested).

Also made from scratch at JavaPrimo are the delicious three-layer cakes. Choose from carrot cake, mocha chocolate and Italian cream. Cakes are available by the slice in the cafe and whole cakes are available with 48 hours advance notice so they can be made fresh from scratch just for the buyer.

"Our carrot cake recipe has been in Josh's family for generations. Their family celebrations are never complete without this delicious treat. The mocha chocolate cake was handed down from my grandmother -- it was the cake that was always on her table and the one she took everywhere. We've modified the icing a bit and dressed it up by adding some ground espresso beans in the icing. We are both pleased to add these treasured family treats to everyone's holiday celebrations," said Hughes.
