Thanksgiving potluck at American Legion Post
American Legion Post 13 will hold a Thanksgiving Day potluck for members and their guests starting at 2 p.m. Veterans who have no place to spend Thanksgiving dinner are welcome as special guests and not expected to bring food. Parking is in the back of the building, and because of the health department smoking ban, there is a 21 and up age limit.
Stephanie Martin will conduct karaoke at 7 p.m. today and Sunday. The public is welcome for all activities.
Nonmembers are asked to sign the register.
Elks Lodge serves dinner on Thanksgiving
Elks Lodge 380, 132 Abbott Place, will serve Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $10. Children 10 and under are half price, and infants 3 and under are free.
VFW Post has Thanksgiving dinner
VFW Post 2278, 2231 E. Grand Ave., will host a Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday. The public is welcome. Meat and side dishes will be provided by the post, but the attendees are encouraged to bring side dish to share.
