Cold-weather preparations

Submitted photo

The Garland County Master Gardeners Committee met to pull out the spring and summer flowers, weed and plant the pansies for fall and winter at the Garland County Courthouse and Police Memorial. This is a regular duty performed each October in these beds to insure that color will be provided during the months of colder weather. Workers were Carol Scrivner, Kay Adams, Michael Carr, Linda Doherty, Susan Deimel, Jim Moore, Shelly Sims, Jodi Tooke, Barbara Smith, Anne Fulbright, Wayne Patterson, Jeff Finney, James Moore Jr. and Lin Johnson. The beds were successfully planted and waiting to be watered.
