Lakeside Primary School's kindergarten class recently finished its first Common Core State Standards unit, "A Colorful Time with Rhythm and Rhyme." Each classroom was designated a different color to wear Sept. 25 to make a rainbow. Throughout the day, the students participated in various activities to celebrate the completion of the unit. A favorite activity featured a performance at the football field with the Lakeside High School drum line.
