Lamont Page, center, Hot Springs Intermediate School dean of students, was one of two teachers recognized by the Hot Springs School Board during the September meeting. Page was named the Arkansas Alternative Education Teacher of the Year during the summer break. Board member Bob Freeman, left, and Superintendent Mike Hernandez presented Page with a plaque to commemorate the accomplishment.
