Two artists from the Hot Springs area, Nina Louton and Janet Kuehn, will be featured throughout September in The Artists' Workshop Gallery, 610 Central Ave., and their work will be showcased beginning with today's Gallery Walk reception from 5-9 p.m.

Louton will show an eclectic mix of oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, along with her new pottery and miniatures. A graduate of Henderson State University, she is a multimedia artist with work displayed around the world. One of her leaf sculptures is featured in an episode of "House Hunters" on HGTV.

In November 2013, Louton began teaching enrichment courses in public schools via Arkansas Learning Through the Arts, a nonprofit organization that works closely with Arkansas Arts in Education, of which she is a member.

Kuehn is a glass artist. She has lived in Hot Springs Village the past four years and receives inspiration from the beauty of nature that surrounds her daily. Her fused glass pieces and paintings are inspired by Arkansas. For this monthlong exhibit, she will show work that incorporates curves and shapes found in water. Kuehn will also display recent pieces created using newly acquired kiln forming techniques.

To help celebrate Artists' Workshop Gallery's 25th year, organizers welcome guests to visit today and meet both featured artists, in addition to viewing works by more than 25 other talented locals.
