Window Mart celebrates 20th anniversary 2016 marks window company milestone

Window Mart Manufacturing LLC announced its 20th year as a leading supplier of high quality vinyl windows and doors. In an era in which we have seen many window companies come and go, Window Mart has achieved two decades of innovation and enormous growth. The company commemorated the occasion with a celebration at its location Wednesday. The company recognized long-term employees with awards for their service and dedication.

"Window Mart began operation in 1996 with the focus on building an extraordinary product for their retail division. With the launch of this product into the market, it was soon apparent that demand was great for this extra ordinary product and a company who backed it up," according to the press release. The company was started with one employee and now, 20 years later, has grown to be one of the larger employers in Garland County with more than 300 employees in the manufacturing side alone.

In 1996, the first window rolled off the line and now, 1,500 windows leave the factory every day and are shipped across the country. Window Mart has continued to grow year after year "with a desire and commitment to customer service that is unsurpassed."

"Not only does the company believe in just making a great product, they want to make sure that all items in their product come from the USA." That is why they have been and continue to be a part of the Made in the USA certification program. While a lot of companies make claims to be made in the USA, Window Mart backs their claims up with the certification process from Made in the USA who does a supply chain audit on every part and piece that goes into the window and door products. That is why they have earned the prestigious Made in The USA Certification label.

Over the years, Window Mart has earned many awards and recognitions, some of them would include the BBB Torch award for business ethics for the state of Arkansas, The Industry of the Year award for Garland County, Fastest Growing Vinyl Window Manufacture and more. They were also featured on the Discovery Channel's highly acclaimed TV show "Designing Spaces."

The company has always believed in giving back. It has provided all the windows for all the homes built by Habitat for Humanity for the past 20 years. It is a sponsor of the Make-a-Wish Foundation for several children a year. It has a recycling program that all proceeds earned are donated to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

"This year we have seen some wonderful things happen at Window Mart. The introduction of some of the most advanced automation in the window business to the announcement of the companies continued expansion. At a visit to the plant, Gov. Asa Hutchinson took the time to praise the company on its success and growth, saying that Window Mart and companies like it are the backbone of our state," it continued.

"As with any great company, we could not have achieved the success we have without the dedication of the best employees in the world. The list below is just a few of those who have served the company over 15 years. We would like to recognize these employees for their years of dedicated service."
