LHSD pushes 'One Pack, One Purpose'

PEARCY -- The Lake Hamilton School District will implement "One Pack, One Purpose" this year to focus on creating strong professional learning communities.

David LaRose is working with the staff on the new focus. LaRose was previously the superintendent Culver City Unified School District in California after he was superintendent for South Kitsap Schools in Washington State.

His focus as a district and site leader has been to engage all school and community stakeholders in a passionate pursuit of high levels of learning for all students. Implementing professional learning communities and systemic interventions to meet the needs of the whole child led to South Kitsap School District being identified as a Model PLC District. The CCUSD district creed, "Success for All Takes Us All!" embodies Dave's belief that success for all students is only possible through meaningful collaboration and results-driven decision making.

LaRose spoke the faculty and staff at Lake Hamilton Wolf Arena during professional development prior to the start of the 2016-17 school year.
