New Beginning Christian

holds Women's Day

New Beginning Christian Ministries, 323 E. Grand Ave., will hold its annual Women's Day at 4 p.m. Sunday.

The guest speaker will be evangelist Stephanie Smith, inspirational speaker will be evangelist Wanda Crew.

Grand Avenue UMC to begin Alpha Course

Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, 841 Quapaw, will begin the Alpha Course at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The 10-week course is a practical introduction to the Christian faith that "offers answers to some key questions."

Each of the weekly sessions will begin with an informal dinner, followed by a large group learning time. They will end with a small group discussion and interaction. For more information, call 623-5626 or 262-9855.

St. Mark Baptist to hold promotion program

St. Mark Baptist Church, 452 Crescent, will hold a Sunday school promotion program at 6 p.m. Sunday followed by games and refreshments for the youths. All are welcome.

Gospel Mission to hold church appreciation

Gospel Mission Church of God in Christ, 1107 Spring St., will hold its 43-year Church Appreciation.

Bishop James Broadway, of Holy Ghost Headquarters, will speak at 7 p.m. today and Pastor Gregory Eichelberger, of Greater Works Ministries, at 3 p.m. Sunday. All are welcome.
