Hot Springs author Bonita Townsend announced the nationwide release of her new book, "Momma's Closet Life Tips."
The hardcover edition will be released later this month.
In "Momma's Closet Life Tips," Townsend expresses that God's promises have richly blessed Christians through the ages, a news release said. They have offered solutions to problems, strength during trials and inspiration for the Christian's life.
Townsend provides prayers specifically for any season based on many promises. Whether a person is struggling with doubts, fears, confusion, negativity or the need for comfort, these traditional prayers are meant to help a person be able to celebrate the goodwill of God's love and promises.
The starter prayers in the book will be helpful for family devotions or small-group Bible studies, the release said. But most of all, they are intended to draw the reader closer to God and inspire their own prayers.
Townsend's discovery of her mother's gift of healing sets into motion a life of great faith. As Townsend, who was raised in a family of deep spiritual heritage, experiences the harshest evils and grows up to find herself constantly running for her life, she learned that trusting God and his Word leads to peace, love and grace. The Lord has always stood by the weak, the downtrodden and the sufferers, the release said.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide.
