Suspects sought in home invasion

Two teenagers were reportedly accosted and robbed at their residence late Tuesday during a home invasion by two masked and armed men.

The female victim, 18, told Garland County sheriff's deputies she and a male witness, 17, were at their residence on Millcreek Road shortly before 9 p.m. when she heard a knock at the front door.

She opened the door and saw two black male suspects, both described as slender build, both wearing black ski masks, hoodies, black jeans and red bandannas and both armed with black pistols.

She said she attempted to close the door, but they pushed it open and entered the residence. One suspect ordered her to "sit down" and pushed her onto a bed. The other suspect struck the witness on the side of his face.

The two then took two pocketbooks containing debit cards and one cellphone from the victims and fled the scene. No further information was in the incident report and no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about the incident or possible suspects should contact sheriff's investigators at 622-3690 or the department's 24-hour, anonymous hotline at 622-3674.
