Resort TV Cable announces launch of CBS Sports Network and Boomerang today

Resort TV Cable boasts more than 275 channels and announces two new networks that will launch today. CBS Sports Network will be on standard service and Boomerang on Digital Val-U-Pak.

CBS Sports Network brings PBR Bull Riding that just started its new season and is the only place to see the "Built Ford Tough" PBR events. It also carries many of the exclusive rights to NCAA ice hockey, AFL football, NCAA baseball, AVP volleyball and PBA bowling events. CBS Sports Network will be on Channel 32 and available in HD on Channel 304.

Boomerang is a 24-hour all animated network for children and families dedicated to showcasing both timeless and contemporary cartoons from the Warner Bros. Hanna-Barbera libraries. Some programming will include favorites like "Tom and Jerry," "Looney Tunes" and "Scooby-Doo." Boomerang will be on the Digital Val-U-Pak service on Channel 124.

"The new programming will replace some current channels including AMC network and Women's Entertainment. Resort TV Cable and over 700 other cable companies nationwide recently completed negotiations to renew the AMC contract. Unfortunately, the terms that AMC demanded would drive up costs over 100% and require launches of less popular channels. The additional costs and the less desirable programming would not be in the best interest of our subscribers. Their most popular show, 'The Walking Dead,' is available for streaming on iTunes and Amazon Instant Video," reported the press release.

Resort TV Cable has the only option in town for a true broadband connection for the home with no-buffer streaming video. Contact Resort TV Cable for more information at 800-903-0508.
