Fun City Barbershop Chorus will have several quartets delivering valentines to bring joy to lucky recipients in Hot Springs and Garland County Feb. 12-14.
The quartets will deliver singing valentines to loved ones, family members, friends and other special people. Along with a tender love ballad, the quartet will deliver a red rose and an inspirational card. From a quiet living room to a crowded bridge party or a doctor's office, everything stops when four men walk in carrying the rose, a card and a song in their hearts, a news release said.
As an added benefit this year, the group is cooperating with the Theta Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and will be able to deliver a dozen chocolate covered strawberries along with the singing valentine for an extra cost.
The barbershop chorus also sings each Monday evening in the Fellowship Hall at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3819 Central Ave. All male singers, young and old, may participate.
