Former Hot Springs quarterback D'Andre Hood, sitting center, signs his national letter of intent to play wide receiver for Nebraska-Kearney on Friday. Joining Hood at his ceremony were seated, from left, Cory Givens, mother Ulonda Frazier, grandmother Reva Frazier and uncle Christopher Frazier, Anthony Johnson, Hot Springs coach Chris Vereen and Amos Gray. Hood was the signal caller during Vereen's first Trojan season in 2010, becoming a first-team all-conference selection at receiver for NAIA Bacone College of Muskogee, Okla.
