FL, Lakeside girls breeze to home wins

FOUNTAIN LAKE -- Bailey Womack and Pearl Lee teamed for 37 points on Senior Night at Bass Gymnasium as Fountain Lake's senior girls routed Arkadelphia 64-36 Tuesday.

This one was over early with Fountain Lake ahead 21-6 after one quarter and 31-11 at halftime, increasing the advantage to 48-23 in the third period.

Womack scored 21 points and Lee 16 for Fountain Lake, 18-7 overall and 11-2 in 4A-7 before its regular-season finale Friday night at Ashdown, site of the district tournament next week. The Lady Cobras' only conference losses are to Nashville.

White Hall-Lakeside

Lakeside's senior girls equaled White Hall's game scoring in the first quarter of a 47-20 triumph Tuesday night at Lakeside Athletic Complex.

Gaylyn Bellamy had 14 points and seven rebounds for the Lady Rams, Lexi Tejcek following with 10 points and five boards. Tatum Rice added eight points and Maddie Nester six on a pair of threes for Lakeside.

It was 20-6 after one quarter, 31-7 at halftime and 47-15 after three quarters.

Lakeside is 12-10 overall, 5-5 in 5A-South, before Friday's road conference game at Camden Fairview.

Conway Blue-LHJH

PEARCY -- Brennon Gibson scored 22 points as Lake Hamilton's junior boys won their final home game of the season Monday, 66-42 over Conway Blue at Wolf Arena.

Clyde Hill had 12 points and Lane Kersey 11 for the Wolves, who led 29-19 at halftime. Lake Hamilton is 15-6 overall and 5-3 in conference play before the regular-season finale Thursday at Little Rock Catholic.

Allison Trantham had 16 points and eight rebounds in the Lady Wolves' 41-38 overtime victory over Conway Blue. Jenny Peake had 10 points, five rebounds and three assists for Lake Hamilton, Caitlynn Porter chipping in nine points, five assists and seven rebounds. With two points each were Morgan Fincham, Brooke Powell and Shahmarie Afkhami.

The Lady Wolves (18-3, 7-1) play Mount St. Mary Academy at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Little Rock.

* Hot Springs' junior girls downed Malvern 43-20 Monday night, improving to 13-7 overall and 3-2 in 5A-Southwest.

Jaylia Reed scored 12 poins, Kiah Beauford nine, Michelle Harper six and Keindia Nevels, Nya Moody and Jurnee Hicks four each for the Lady Trojans. Beauford added six rebounds, five steals and five assists. Jamie Broadway and Jasmine Bowers completed the team's scoring with two points each.
