The Hot Springs Fire Department responded to a fire in the front living room of 330 Alpine St. Tuesday morning. The fire department extinguished the fire within five minutes of arriving. Only a couch and curtain caught fire, and the rest of the home sustained smoke damage. No one was reportedly at home when the fire started and the cause is still under investigation.
