Vegetarian Supper Club meets Monday
Vegetarian Supper Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Seventh-day Adventist Church, 401 Weston Road. Dr. Rheeta Stecker will lead a discussion on "A New Look at How Our Bodies Heal" and will include "More on the Effect of Our Teeth on Our Health." Dr. Dan Martin, a DOM from Texarkana, is scheduled to add to the discussion with information about the flow of electricity in the human body. Known principles of good health, including exercise, sunshine, fresh air, adequate nutrition, rest and trust, will be reviewed in relation to the new material that will be presented.
Supper Club meetings are held on the first Monday each month, September through June. The meetings provide health information, suppers and fellowship. Everyone is welcome and admission is free. Those who attend should bring a vegetarian dish with the recipe and a self-addressed envelope, to receive the recipe collection for the evening. For more information, call 760-1750.
