GCRW holds fish fry
with Tom Cotton
Garland County Republican Women will hold a fish fry dinner and silent auction with U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 23 at Belvedere Country Club. Tickets are $30 per person in advance or $35 at the door.
There will be a private reception and personal photos at 5 p.m. with Cotton. Tickets are $25 per person and are limited to 50 people. Advance tickets available.
Elks hold fundraiser
dinner, concert, drawing
Elks Lodge 380, 132 Abbott Place, will hold a dinner-concert-raffle fundraiser starting at 5 p.m. Saturday featuring Wallace Poole, aka Willie Nelson, on stage. The sit-down dinner will be smoked pork loin.
Dinner/concert tickets are $40 with all proceeds going to the parking lot fund. Tickets may be purchased from all lodge officers. Reserved seating is available at the time of purchase. Please purchase as soon as possible.
Tickets for drawings will be available for $1 each or six for $5. Winners don't need to be present to win. Items to be drawn for include a 55-inch HDTV and wood chipper/shredder.
The lodge is accepting donations of prizes, money to purchase prizes or cash towards the repair of the parking lot.
