Dear editor:
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the recent series of articles on cancer survivors. I enjoyed reading all of them, but was especially delighted to open the paper and realize that the last article in the series was about a dear friend, Linda Houk.
The article was a fitting tribute to Linda's unwavering faith and indomitable spirit, and to the power that what faith in God, determination and a great sense of humor can accomplish in ones' life.
Hats off to The Sentinel-Record and also to the writer for these "feel good" stories in a day when it seems all we read and hear is bad news!
