Greater St. Paul Baptist to celebrate pastor, wife
Greater St. Paul Baptist Church, 497 Crescent Ave., will celebrate the fifth anniversary service for Pastor Kenneth and Sister Lauri Gulley at 3 p.m. Sunday. Special guest church will be Mount Canaan Baptist Church. Pastor Johnny Harris will deliver the message. Music will be provided by Mount Canaan and Greater St. Paul. All are welcome.
Gethsemane MBC to hold Mission Day
Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 120 Blake St., will hold its annual Mission Day Program at 3 p.m. Sunday. First lady Antonia Wilson, of Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, will speak. All are welcome.
Doyle to speak at Apostolic Faith
Apostolic Faith Tabernacle Church, 3217 Airport Road, Pearcy, will hear the Rev. David Doyle speak at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday.
Cherry Street to hold VBS
Cherry Street Temple of Jesus Name Church, 103 Cherry St., will hold a Vacation Bible School from 9 a.m. to noon July 26-27 for ages 2-10. The theme will be "Riding with Jesus -- Acceleration in Christ." Activities will include songs, stories, art, science, a movie about Jesus and a snack. Registration forms can be obtained from Darlene Shepperd, 276-7701, and need to be returned by July 8 to ensure materials.
