Submitted photo Hot Springs High School math teacher Debbie Horn was announced by Don Gooch, president of Hot Springs Arvest Bank, as the Hot Springs School District's 2016 Distinguished Teacher of the Year during the district's closing staff meeting on May 26. Horn was selected by an external panel and will be submitted to the Arkansas Department of Education as a nominee for the 2016 Arkansas Teacher of the Year.
