HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- On Saturday, the United Methodist Women of Christ of the Hills, in Hot Springs Village, will have their annual garage and bake sale from 8 a.m. until 2 p. m. Donated items come from church, family, friends and neighbors.
Golf items, sports equipment, kitchenware, collectibles, electronic, tools, holiday, furniture and jewelry are included in this gigantic sale. Treasure hunters and bargain hunters are welcome. Specially created flower arrangements and home-baked goodies will enhance the shopping experience.
Profits from the sale are donated to local charities and benefit those in the area in need of assistance. Items not sold are donated to local charities for their resale shops, including Methodist Outreach and Teen Challenge. "United Methodist Women express their gratitude for your support," states the press release.
Christ of the Hills UMC is located at 700 Balearic Road. Donations are accepted on Thursday and Friday before the sale. For more information, call 922-4503.
