Vineyard Street, between Seventh and Fleet streets, will be closed to through traffic through Friday for water main repair.
Signs are posted, and motorists are asked to seek alternate routes.
The inside lanes of Central Avenue, from the 100 block to the 300 block, will be closed from 3-6:30 a.m. Thursday to facilitate hanging of flower baskets.
Traffic cones and safety lighting will be used to mark the closed lanes of traffic. Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling in the area.
