Macedonia Baptist to celebrate pastor, wife

MOUNTAIN PINE -- Macedonia Baptist Church, 101 McCurtain St., Mountain Pine, will celebrate the 27th pastor anniversary for the Rev. Theodis Brown Jr. and First Lady Doris Brown at 3 p.m. Sunday. Guest church will be Greater St. Paul Baptist Church. The theme will be, "A Pastor Chosen By God."

Unity to hold building fund program

Unity Church of God In Christ, 200 Gardener St., will hold a building fund program at 3 p.m. Sunday. The theme will be "We Are Building on a Sure Foundation." The guest speaker will be Apostle Rozell Wofford, of Eagle Saints Outreach Ministries International, Little Rock. All are welcome.

Circle Cross Cowboy Church finds new home

GLENWOOD -- Circle Cross Cowboy Church, Glenwood, has acquired land on Highway 70 for their future home. Fundraising and construction for the new location are underway. The church currently meets at 9 a.m. Sundays and 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the Martin Building at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds.

Dwain Miller to speak at Faith Pointe

Faith Pointe Ministries, 440 Broadway, will host Prophet Dwain Miller at 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday. He has served as senior pastor of Cross Life Church, El Dorado, for two decades. All are welcome.

Cottrell Chapel to celebrate National Stewardess Day

Cottrell Chapel CME Church, 698 E. Grand Ave., will celebrate National Stewardess Day at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Lynnette Coulter, of New St. Paul AME Church. Stewardesses and deaconesses of the city are welcome.

Greater Ebenezer to hold Seven Up Program

Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 401 Lacey St., will hold its annual Seven Up Program at 4 p.m. Sunday. The topic will be "Men and Women of the Bible." Evangelist Cheri Wilson will speak on "Deborah"; Sister Doris Counts on "Miriam"; Sister Stephinnie Wiley-Smith on "Woman at the Well"; Prophetess Teresa Luster on "Ester"; the Rev. Mark McGraw on "John"; the Rev. James Lambert on "Paul"; and the Rev. Demon Newburn on "David." Brother Eddie Jo Barron will be the special soloist and Brother Jonathan Carrigan will present a praise dance.

Master's House to hold homecoming revival

The Master's House, 600 Main St., will hold a homecoming revival at 6 p.m. today and 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Darren Fitzgerald, of Louisiana, will preach. Potluck lunch will be served. All are welcome.

St. Mark Baptist to hold scholarship program

St. Mark Baptist Church, 542 Crescent, will observe its A.L. Nichols Scholarship program during the 11 a.m. Sunday service. Janice McCoy, director of education for the Hot Springs School District, will speak. The theme will be "Living With Purpose -- One of a Kind."

Empowerment weekend at Grace Apostolic

Shoutin' Shannon Youth Empowerment Weekend, at Grace Apostolic Church, 192 Grace Lane, will be at 6 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday. The Shoutin' Shannon Sunday Service will be at 10 a.m. May 22. There will be free food and activities Friday and Saturday.
