Dear editor:
I wish to commend John W. "Doc" Crawford for his excellent letter to the editor printed May 21, 2016. No slander, libel nor curses, just a straightforward discussion of political viewpoints. His discussion of how I feel about Donald Trump is accurate, although he obviously doesn't agree with me.
When Mr. Crawford gets into economic theory, we disagree even more. I would like to mention our ever-expanding national debt. Why does this government find it necessary to continue to borrow money? But Mr. Crawford has not convinced me. I am a Republican and I intend to vote for the candidates provided by that party.
So you have seen both sides now. You decide -- but please get out and vote. Every vote counts.
