City manager addresses joint REGARD, NAACP

Hot Springs City Manager David Frasher will speak at a combined meeting of REGARD and NAACP from 7-8 p.m. today in St. Luke's Episcopal Church Friendship Hall. Due to schedule conflicts with REGARD's regular meeting, the date was changed for this month only. This will be an opportunity to meet the new city manager and share common views and concerns for the city.

REGARD is an organization with the mission: To build connections and cooperation; promote understanding, appreciation, respect and fellowship; and celebrate the richly diverse populations in Hot Springs and Garland County.

Normally, meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at St. Luke's and are open to all persons. Guests are welcome. No reservation is required.

For more information on REGARD or this meeting, call Fred Leonard, 520-8766.
